What are the best picture books for Christmas? Well, I have an answer. I polled over 100 moms, and these are the top picture books that were recommended. These can be used for a fun Christmas Advent, where each night you open a new book, or just to simply add to your collection. We are still working on building our collection, but our children are very opinionated as to what is their favorite. And a few of the books are MY favorite, and you will have to pull them from my cold, dead hands.

The Tale of Three Trees: https://amzn.to/3ZNFJ5Q : This is a family favorite growing up. I love this book and frequently cry while I read it. Also great for Easter.
Room for a Little One: https://amzn.to/3VFLsIr : This book is incredibly adorable and beautifully illustrated about animals who were at the manger. I have cried in this one too…

The Christmas Miracle of Jonathan Toomey : https://amzn.to/3DbQPst : I’ll be honest, I had never even heard of this book before, but so many people mentioned it, that it had to go on the list. They even made a movie on it. Now I have to get the book and watch the movie this year!
Little Blue Truck’s Christmas: https://amzn.to/3ZuqBsO : This is another one that was mentioned many times. This is another cute one, especially if you already own Little Blue Truck.

There are so many fun books that help bring Christmas alive. There are also so many that help introduce baby Jesus to young children. This is just a small collection of books that were mentioned over and over again by mothers who have small children.
