About Jillian’s Journey to Sprouting Arrows
Hello and welcome! I’m Jillian, the heart and hands behind this blog. My journey to starting Sprouting Arrows started in the summer of 2022 when I felt a calling to witness to others. But, as a stay at home mother, I just wasn’t sure how to broaden my opportunities to share Christ with others. This is when Sprouting Arrows came to be.
I am originally from Northern California and considered myself pretty liberal. But, after motherhood and a pandemic, I’m not pretty conservative.
I have a B.S. in Family Studies and an M.A. in Occupational Therapy, but I’ve always wanted to just be a mom, and now I get to be one.
I strongly believe that the change we need to see in our culture starts with the family. I also adamantly hold that spreading the Good News, that there is a God who loves us, and asks us to be a part of His work, is also best started in the family.
Being a stay-at-home mother was just a natural decision for our family. Even when our finances were tight. We just decided that there was no other option and we would do whatever it took to make it work, because it was that important to us. And that is when I realized that more people could do this way of life than they realized. They just don’t realize it…yet.
